Certificate III in Beauty Services is your first step for gaining a qualification to work in the Beauty Industry. 

The Heather Langton Academy of Beauty Therapy offers a part-time training program which is suitable for those unable to do full time studies Certificate III in Beauty is the first steps towards a Beauty Therapy qualification and includes Certificate II in Nail Technology.

Enrolling in this programme you can train over 2 years to gain a Certificate IV in Beauty Therapy - Part Time.

First year Certificate III in Beauty Services and second year Certificate IV in Beauty Therapy.

What Does The Course Entail

The Certificate III in Beauty Services has 15 core subjects and 6 elective subjects. During your interview an information sheet will be given to you. The College will explain in more detail.

  • Apply knowledge of Nail Science to Nail Services
  • Apply knowledge of Skin Biology to Beauty Treatments

Duration of the Course

Evening Course

2 nights per week-Monday & Wednesday
6 pm to 9.30 pm—10 Months


Day Course

1 day per week—Friday 9 am to 4.30 pm
March and July intakes

Course Materials

Training Manuals and most materials are included in fees however Students are required to purchase the following

Homework

After Hours Studies are required for Certificate III in Beauty Services both in practical and theory. Assignments will be given throughout the training programme. This will be explained in more detail at your interview.

Employment Opportunities

On completion of studies Certificate III graduates can gain employment in Beauty, Hair or Nail Salons or work within the cosmetic industry or be self employed.
Qualifications

All students who complete the training program and pass their assessment will receive a Certificate II in Nail Technology and Certificate III in Beauty Services.

It is recommended you come into the College for a personal interview and check our College facilities and ask further questions regarding the training programme.

Dress Code

All students training in this level must purchase a Heather Langton badge, t-shirt, jumper and wear black pants/skirt. Further information on Dress Code is discussed during the interview.
