Enrolling in this program is a great introduction into the Beauty Industry and to be able to further your education by upgrading into Beauty Therapy.  This training program is classroom-based training including homework off campus.

What does this course entail?
The Certificate III in Beauty Services has 14 core subjects and 4elective subjects. During your interview an information sheet will be given to you. The College will explain in more detail.

Evening Course

2 nights per week-Monday & Wednesday
6 pm to 9.00 pm (dates to be advised)

Day Course

2 days per week—Monday and Tuesday 9 am to 5.00 pm

A minimum of 1 Wednesday clinic day per month

Course Materials

Training Manuals and most materials are included in fees however Students are required to purchase the following:


  • Makeup Kit and Textbook

  • Manicure and Pedicure Kit
  • Uniform (including name badge)



After Hours Studies are required for Certificate III in Beauty Services both in practical and theory. Assignments will be given throughout the training programme. This will be explained in more detail at your interview.

Employment Opportunities

On completion of studies, Certificate III graduates can gain employment in Beauty, Hair or Nail Salons or work within the cosmetic industry or be self-employed.


All students who complete the training program and pass their assessment will receive a certificate which is
issued within 30 days of completing program.
The Heather Langton Academy of Beauty Therapy can organise a personal one on one interview to view the college facilities and to discuss any aspects relating to the training program.
